A recent post on Creative Review caught my eye for two reasons.

1) It was a sideways commentary on the explosion of CCTVs in the UK and the campaign of one particular group to highlight what they see as an encroachment of people’s civil liberties. I won’t comment on that as my partner has recently become the CCTV officer for Townsville City Council.

2) The graphic the group used is a brilliantly executed concept.

The post goes on to discuss why they think  the group may have missed the mark, but that is neither here nor there. The visual, matched with their slogan of ‘It all starts with “In the interest of your own safety”‘ certainly leaves an impression.
